What is the difference between chatGPT and google search engine?

My views on ChatGPT vs. Google Search engine nd the difference between existing AI and generative AI. The tool can be in action very soon and be of daily use just like Google and its famous auto-complete. Will this become like the Facebook for Google+ analogy regarding search?- Google and OpenAI's ChatGPT are both AI-powered tools, but they serve different purposes and have different capabilities.

 - Google is a search engine that allows users to search for information on the internet. 

 - Google uses algorithms to index and rank websites, making it easy for users to find relevant information. 

 - ChatGPT, on the other hand, is a language model developed by OpenAI. It is trained on a large dataset of text to generate human-like text responses to user queries. It can answer questions, provide information, generate creative writing, and perform other language-related tasks.
